I’m finally back!! It drove me crazy not keeping up with your blogs and not posting ones of my own, but it was a nice visit with my family and I got a lot of really great photos to share with you all as soon as I get to them adjusted! lol!
These are the other photos I took at my brothers dance performance. As you can see there are all kinds of styles! It really was a lot of fun watching everyone. I did musical theater for 2 years or more and those were some of my favorite memories 🙂 I don’t think I was very good HAHA, but I just love dancing in a group of people, just feeling that energy and feeling the music. I miss it very much.
I have a LOT of blogs of yours to go through! lol! So it will take me a few days, but I’ll make sure to comment on as many as I can 🙂 Miss you all and I’m glad to be home 😀
You gotta love Jazz lol!
These next two were from their theater group performing a song from Mary Poppins 🙂
There was this girl in the center of both these pictures that just completely stood out to me
Hello my fellow bloggers!
I’ve been out of the state all week and haven’t been able to get online to check out all your amazing blogs and I haven’t been able to post any new pictures. I’ve taken a lot of new pictures while I’ve been here so I’ll have a lot to share with you when I get back 🙂 I’ll probably post my next blog sometime next week, just to let you all know 🙂
MISS YOU ALL! Be back soon 😀
Eric’s performance was awesome!!! These are only of him and I had to do quite a bit of editing on them, so I hope you guys like them 🙂 I’m sure I could have done more, but I like how these look 🙂
There were so many other styles of dance and performances going on that night, so I’m really excited to be posting those soon 🙂 just have to do some more adjusting on them
My youngest brother, Eric, has been taking a Hip Hop class at his college! Yes, the future EMT brother lol! So while waiting for the performance to start we were sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful campus 🙂 I’m actually very excited about all the photos I took on this day so I will be spitting them up into a few different blogs.
My mom says, “Cover her up!” lol
My mom was wondering what this was for…
There we go! lol! Gotta love my mom 😛
We left my dad someplace where he wouldn’t get hurt lol!
We had a beautiful warm and sunny day a few weeks ago and because of it I went ahead and let my “indoors only” cat, Stevie, out to explore the yard. He’s still very new to being outside, and because we live in such a wet state, I haven’t been able to let him out much. But now that our days are getting warmer, we will be letting him explore a lot more. My oldest cat, George, has been an indoor/outdoor cat for years now. He’s good about staying in ours and our neighbors yards and doesn’t go farther than that.
After sitting and watching the two cats outdoors I started laughing at how differently they took it. Granted, George has been outside for years, but Stevie, even indoors, is afraid of his own shadow, lol! George just sat there, posed for me a bit and let me know I was in his yard. He welcomed me by walking toward me while I tried to take a picture of him and rubbed his face on my lens. Then he sat watching me carefully, letting me know he didn’t like Stevie in his yard lol!
After observing George, I started focusing on Stevie. Now, a reminder, Stevie is my husbands cat from southern California. Because it was so unsafe to have him outside, he just stayed an indoor cat until I brought him up here with me 🙂 No matter how much I called to Stevie, he would not look at me, lol! He was way too amazed and frightened of this new world around him. You would have never guessed that this was the 5th time he’d been outside 😛
You all know how much I just love my bedroom windows, lol! I especially love them during the end of spring, the windows in my room face this huge cherry tree. It blooms these beautiful little flowers and sometimes, while I’m reading, I’ll sit toward them so i can see them move in the breeze. We had a beautiful sunset and my curtains look awesome this time of day, haha! As I was snapping a few silly shots I noticed something making the branches go crazy! I zoomed in to see a squirrel eating the buds on the tree! HAHA! I was so excited and took a few shots, this one looks the best I think. I couldn’t zoom in any closer, so hopefully you can see him pretty well 🙂
I hope these photos relax you as much as it did for me while I was taking them.
My brother Eric, whom I’ve posted pictures of in the past, is training and going to school to become an EMT fire fighter! We are all soooo proud of him 🙂 He still has some more years to go, but he’s officially a fire fighter, so he goes on calls and everything. A few weeks ago they had some training at the fire station in the tower where the guys have to climb a ladder into a window and they actually have it to where the floor falls out from under them! No worries though, there was padding in the bottom for them, lol, but it’s just to prepare them for whatever comes their way.
Ok so get this, these pictures were taken out our bathroom window HAHA! We just live a few houses down from the station. So when he was training that day he called my mom up and said, “Look out the window!” I grabbed Frank (my Canon) and saw my little brother in the tower window! If you zoom in on the first picture you can see him making a heart shape with his hands 🙂
