Multnomah Falls

Our goal was to drive up to where Mt Hood was and stay the night on the Gorge (aka Columbia River). It started snowing and we didn’t have chains for our tires so we knew we’d have to stop somewhere soon just to make sure we wouldn’t need them later, hoping we could talk to someone at a rest stop about it. We passed by a few waterfalls, it was getting dark so we didn’t see them until right after we’d pass them. Finally we pulled off and there was a restaurant and path going up to this Multnomah Falls. After talking to the information desk, we didn’t need tires up ahead, so we were relieved about that, he told us the falls was right up the hill. I was so excited! I got Frank out and walked up the path …

We hiked up to the bridge and got this photo…

It was FREEZING! It was an amazing thing to see but I got over it fast! HAHA! Got one last picture of William and ran to the car lol!

  1. i know you mentioned being interested in critique and I’m wondering if you’ve explored the upper reaches of your camera’s ISO settings. high ISO is not to be feared

    1. Thank you so much for telling me that! I have been having troubles with my camera, but I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, or if I’m doing anything wrong. I do fear high ISO lol! But I’ll start playing with it more 🙂 Thanks again!

  2. I’m always amazed at how stunning your photos are. Like a refreshing burst of where I wish I was, right then and there. Thank you for sharing your world with us. 😀

    1. Thank you 😀 It was an amazing place to be, I wish it wasn’t so darn cold so I could have spent more time playing with the settings on my camera haha! Could have gotten better pictures of it I think.

  3. I’m SOOOO jealous you got to see this in person!! I’ve always seen photos and have always wanted to see these! Amazing photos as always!!! Love you sister! -Kaylie (I changed my screen name finally haha)
