The website above has some fun information on the lighthouse, and I was excited to see an older picture of it. The winds on the coast was so brutal that the older houses built around the lighthouse didn’t last and had to be torn down. This lighthouse is so gorgeous, I was happy to have my new wide angle lens for these shots, so you can see more of it closer up.

  1. Oooh, I like the angles, the old picture is great, but the house at the front seems to be missing now.
New lens are great, I have ordered a new wide angle too, hopefully will come tomorrow.

    1. Thanks Leanne! Yeah that older buildings didn’t stay up due to the harsh winds they have there, it ended up being torn down because they were in bad shape. I wish they would have fixed it up, there was a haunted story about that older house, and I would have liked to have walked through it 😀

  2. Holy cow that’s beautiful! My favorite shot is the second photo with the sea in the foreground. So amazing!
