Let’s Tip Toe Through the Tulips

I can’t tell you how much fun I had on this tulip day! I was tripping trying not to step on tulips, kneeing in the mud, and I came from it with some awesome shots! These are some different angles I was trying to work with. Seeing what angles worked better than others, I took a LOT of pictures haha!

I still have a few posts to share with you on this event, so … “to be continued…”

30 Day Challenge – Day 2 “What You Wore”

“Wore” I know is past tense, but my ring I have worn, continue to wear and will wear everyday for the rest of my life. The engagement ring is my grandma’s, William had the wedding band custom made to match it 🙂 I love it with all my heart! I have my grandma with me every day of my life!

My amazing husband, William, took me, as a surprise to the Tulip Fest for my birthday! It started this last weekend and I can’t tell you how excited and surprised I was! Tulips bring me joy and I was smiling all day long 😀 I have a lot of shots, so I will be breaking them down into different posts. Today I will be showing you the large field of tulips. This is the first weekend of the event, so a lot of them hadn’t bloomed yet. We are planning on going back in about two weeks to see it full of colors!

30 Day Challenge – Day 1 “Self Portrait”

“Everything is a self-portrait. A diary. Your whole drug history’s in a strand of your hair. Your fingernails. The forensic details. The lining of your stomach is a document. The calluses on your hand tell all your secrets. Your teeth give you away. Your accent. The wrinkles around your mouth and eyes. Everything you do shows your hand.”

― Chuck Palahniuk, Diary

I have been dreading this post. I don’t like pictures of myself, and I know this one isn’t very good. In fact you will probably all think it’s awful HAHA! I know I don’t really like it, but the reason behind it is, I hide behind my hair. If I’m meeting new people or just nervous, I hide behind my hair and I don’t look people in the eyes. I tell people I have the “ostrich” effect, I think if I don’t look at people they can’t see me haha! It’s silly but while I was wrecking my brain on how I was going to do this, I just thought of something like this, a little more of an art style than portrait. I probably completely failed, and I’m kind of curious as to what you think. Here’s me, hiding behind my hair, because I’m out of my comfort zone.
