Florence, Oregon

We have been having some amazing weather here! Sunny and warm 😀 I’m going to be very upset when it ends haha! As everyone up here knows, summer doesn’t really start for us until the middle of June. To take advantage of this amazing sunshine, we took a trip to the Florence coast.

From this point you can see Heceta Head Lighthouse, and the first shot is the lighthouse keepers house.

Heceta Head Lighthouse 🙂 Due to plans we had made, we weren’t able to hike up to see the lighthouse close up.

A Two Hour Hike

Yes, this was the day I found out just how out of shape I really was. Haha! It was bad, what was suppose to only take 1 and a half hours (at the most), took us two. What really killed my ego was seeing an older gentleman hiking down with walking sticks, he didn’t look winded at all. At that point, we decided to hike up that trail more often lol! Other than almost dying, it was a beautiful trail! It was a really nice and sunny day so it was pretty crowded. In these shots I tried to get as few people as possible

In the distance we were able to see the Oregon Ducks Stadium 😀 GO DUCKS!

30 Day Challenge – Day 7 “Changes To Come”

This was soooo hard for me! I’m not exactly happy with what I finally found for this challenge, but it sums it up pretty well. In this shot I was able to capture construction work to new houses and the focal point being a plot of land before the construction starts. Construction sites are ugly, lol, and I haven’t played too much with making ugly scenery better, so this was good practice. All in all, I think it came out better than what I had thought. There are no regrets 🙂
