… Halloween to you all!
Have fun and be safe 😀
First off, I want to thank all my new followers for seeing my work and liking it enough to see more! My amazing WordPress friends, MakeSomethingMondays and Leanne Cole, have featured me and because of it my confidence has soared. Thank you for taking time to check out my posts and I’m hoping to change my blog name soon. I agree with a lot of my followers, wannabe needs a promotion 🙂
Don’t let the name fool you, there are no craw fish here lol! Don’t ask me why, I have no idea. We drove a good 35 to 40 minutes up the mountains here to find this place and I was shocked as to how warm it was! I won’t lie, I wasn’t completely happy with these, the time of day wasn’t ideal and the colors of the trees kind of threw me off when I loaded them. These are the few I found decent enough to post.
I’m hoping to do a more Halloween themed post soon! I have the photos, just need to adjust them a bit 🙂
There are a few places where we are that have pumpkin patches, corn mazes and they sell a lot of goodies! It’s always fun this time of year to visit a local farm, try their giant caramel apples and run through their corn fields. This year we visited a new farm and they had these adorable goats that took my attention away from most everything else lol!
How can you not love these faces? lol
I have reached 200 followers! I can’t believe 200 people decided that my work is interesting enough to see more than once! That is just amazing to me 🙂 Thank you so sticking with me on these last couple of slow posting months. I will hopefully be posting more for the rest of the year! I’m excited to share the holidays once again with all of you amazing bloggers!
My family and I took a trip up to northern Oregon to visit the little town of St. Helens. As you can see on my last post, this town really loves their Halloween. While walking around the main street area we came across this spooky house! While photographing it a black cat appeared! It must be that time of year 🙂
He started walking towards us as I was taking his picture, it reminded me a lot of my George. Let’s just say, I almost took him home hahaha!
I can’t wait to show you the pumpkin patch pictures! I’ll be posting those soon!
I know that I’ve shown you all this town back in January, we traveled up north to visit it again yesterday because they decorate for Halloween every year! They have filmed the first, Twilight movie there and a Disney channel movie called Halloween Town. This huge pumpkin was a prop for Halloween Town and after they were done filming they left it to the town. Every year they display it along with other very fun decorations!
Yesterday we also went to a small pumpkin patch and I will be posting those soon!
This is one of my favorite months of the year, I love fall and pumpkins and just about everything that comes with the weather changing. William and I took a trip around the farm land areas that we live by and I was frustrated to see that our leaves haven’t quite changed yet. Everything is still green and just showing a little bit of change, but not enough to photograph well. I wanted to post a “Welcome Fall” blog, but I can’t find it! I’m hoping within the next week I’ll have a lot more photos for you 🙂
In the meantime, here’s our pumpkin!
As I’ve mentioned in my last post, Crater Lake had an unexpected snow storm and there was only one view point open. This entrance to the lake also had a hotel, I really should have gone inside of it, but it had started snowing again right after these shots and we didn’t have chains for our tires. So we made the trip extremely short, but I got some really great pictures. These are a few different looks of the place we were exploring.
Here’s the hotel
