I apologize for the delay in posts, it’s been another crazy week. It’s been more of an emotionally crazy week than anything else. My husband is going to Afghanistan for contract work again 😦 I hate being away from him, but this opportunity is a great one and I’m excited for him in that way. With William leaving soon and me trying to find work and we haven’t had time to go take any pictures, but today was another typical day here in the Pacific Northwest. It’s been cloudy, than sunny, than cloudy and sunny again haha! So while the sun was out I ran outside with William and my brother Ryan and I took what pictures I could. You guys are probably completely sick of this covered bridge lol, but it’s just so pretty I couldn’t help but get a different look on it this time 🙂 I’m still sticking to my goal this year and trying to find different ways of seeing and capturing areas or objects. So far I was happy with what I was able to get today.
I’m finally catching up with my fellow bloggers posts from the last couple of weeks. I’ve noticed a lot of people posting their goals for this year, where they want to go, what they want to see, eat, and who they hope to meet. I’ve always been awful at making these goals, I always feel let down when they don’t work out, and yes, most of the time it’s because I can be lazy haha! This year is going to different, I really want to make goals and try to make them work out. I want to be proud of myself when I accomplish them and make others proud as well 🙂
As you can see, my last post was revisiting a local waterfall. I’m enjoying going back to past locations and trying to look at them differently. What can I do to make this seem as big as it looks in my mind? Last year I posted Covered bridges remind me of Sleepy Hollow and didn’t take many shots of it at all! This bridge has so many sides and angles, and I wanted to give you a better look 🙂
I woke up and went straight to it, the sun was coming out of the fog that had settled the night before and I thought they turned out beautifully 🙂
My first goal is, to revisit my past picture locations and try to make them better. Try to make them tell more of a story than I was able to tell before. Here’s a different look!
